About Us

Serving up to six seniors, our moderate size allows for the kind of personal attention you won’t find at large senior-care facilities. Residents at Vista Elderly Care experience the perfect balance of independent living and assisted care in a homelike setting that’s shared with a small caring and committed community. Seniors can enjoy both the privacy of their own personal space as well as charming common areas like those with fireplaces that are perfect for settling in and sharing moments with others.

Skilled caregivers provide round-the-clock assistance to our residents, proving a range of helpful services such as incontinence care and medication reminders. We also offer compassionate hospice care. Providing both physical and emotional support to our residents and their families, our team strives to give everyone in our care the best possible day, every day. All with an eye on safety; Vista Elderly Care complies with all local safety ordinances such as having fire sprinklers throughout the residence.

You’ll love our location. Consistently rated as one of Fresno’s most desirable areas, Woodland Park is a relaxed residential enclave bounded by the San Joaquin River and home to acres of green spaces such as the sprawling and picnic-friendly Fresno Park. We’re also close to a host of shopping and dining options, houses of worship, and we’re an eight-minute-drive from Kaiser Permanente Fresno Medical Center.

To ensure quality care, we work closely with state and local entities dedicated to the protection of patients’ rights. We’re licensed to provide senior care by the state of California in compliance with Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) requirements. We’re monitored by the Fresno and Madera Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, committed to ensuring quality care and quality of life to residents in long-term-care environments. Additionally, we’re regulated by the Fresno Adult and Senior Care Regional Office.

Services We Offer

Our mission is to provide the best care possible for you and your family. And so our services include:

Mobility Assistance

Greatly reducing the chances of injury, physical assistance that’s tailored to the needs of seniors with limited mobility is always available. This help may come in the form of assistance with day-to-day tasks, or companionship to enjoy activities, engage in hobbies, or simply for a good conversation.

Well balanced meals

Preparing balanced healthy meals is often one of the biggest challenges families face when caring for seniors. Especially if there is a need for a specialized diet. We’re masters in creating mouth-watering menus that are tailored to the nutritional needs of seniors.

Healthcare Assistant

With skilled caregivers on staff offering 24-7 support, the healthcare needs of our residents are continually monitored and met. From medication reminders to incontinence care and more, assistance is always available. We can also arrange transportation for any medical needs at other locations.

Housekeeping and Laundry

Healthiness and cleanliness go hand in hand. And so we strive to ensure that our seniors receive regular laundering of bed linens, personal laundry, towels, and washcloths. All areas of our facility are cleaned thoroughly and often to guarantee that our residents have the safest and cleanest environment possible.

Personal Hygiene Care

Crucial for maintaining good health, personal hygiene assistance can include intimate help with bathing, discreet support with toilet use, as well as a helping hand with grooming and dressing.

Continence Management

As a good number of seniors may eventually suffer from incontinence, due to frailty or cognitive impairment, our caregivers are trained to meet a range of needs with the treatment and management of incontinence.

Hospice Care

Should the time come when medical treatment loses its efficacy, we’re here to provide a dignified place that allows seniors to age in peace, surrounded by
family, friends, and compassionate caregivers.

Medication Reminders

For many seniors, taking the right medication at the right time in the right dosage is vital to maintaining their health. And a drug mix-up could prove costly. That’s why our caregivers are there to ensure residents take their medication precisely as prescribed.

We Are the Right Choice

It may happen slowly over time or all at once with a single incident. But there often comes a moment for many family caregivers when they realize that they need a helping hand from professionals who specialize in senior care. That’s when you can turn to us. We’re ready to help alleviate the stress that’s often experienced by both seniors and their families.
  • Compassion.  A core value we hold dear, compassion runs through all we do at Vista Elderly Care. From a smiling face at a morning meal to assistance with daily tasks and help with health issues, you’ll always find compassionate care.
  • Empathy. Connecting with the feelings of others on a personal level is fundamental to good caregiving. Our staff treats residents the way they wish to be treated themselves, forging relationships that transcend the dynamic of caregivers and receivers.
  • Kindness. From the moment you enter Vista Elderly Care, you can feel the welcoming warmth and commitment to kind-hearted care from of our skilled team, devoted to creating positive relationships with our residents.
  • Community. We consider all under our roof to be part of our extended family, and so all should be treated like family members. This sense of family goes from the attitudes of our highly trained staff to our homelike setting that offers more comfort than cold and impersonal senior-care facilities.
  • Experience. Our skilled and detail-oriented caregivers excel at providing individualized attention designed to meet each of our resident’s specific needs. And with a high staff-to-resident ratio there’s always an experienced caregiver close at hand.
  • Patience. This is an important factor that can sometimes be overlooked with the hectic pace of modern life. We understand that meeting our residents’ needs takes time and understanding.
  • Respect. Dignity is important at all stages of life. But it is crucial during a time in a senior’s life when they are in need of some assistance.
